
In 2016, the "6.21 International Musical Instrument Performance Day" was introduced into China by the China Musical Instrument Association. It has spread to nearly 130 countries and regions around the world, and has become an international, public welfare and popular cultural event.
According to Sun Ruiyong, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Musical Instrument Association, driven by the policy of promoting and implementing aesthetic education in the country, the association has issued a proposal to make musical instruments a household standard and music a daily necessity in recent years.
Through various activities such as the annual "6.21 International Musical Instrument Performance Day", "National Music Education Conference" and various music and arts forums and lectures, it has set off a wave of learning music and playing instruments throughout society and played an active role in expanding the population of music lovers. He firmly believes that the vision goal of "every citizen learning one musical instrument in their lifetime and every family attending one music concert annually" is achievable.
