The ancestors of the folk guitar can be traced back to the various ancient plucked instruments of Nafar in ancient Egypt, ancient Babylon and ancient Persia before two or three thousand BC. The oldest modern guitar-like instrument found by archaeologists is the "Hittite guitar" that lived on the ruins of ancient Hittite city gates in Asia Minor and northern Syria before 1400 BC. The 8-shaped inwardly curved body determines the unique sound resonance and instrument characteristics of the guitar, which has become the most distinctive feature of the guitar and other plucked instruments. In Spain in the thirteenth century, the term Spanish guitar gradually evolved from the Persian language. Among the various musical instruments at that time, "Moorish guitar" and "Latin guitar" have appeared. Among them, the Moorish guitar body has an oval-shaped back bulging, using metal strings, and the playing style is relatively rough; the Latin guitar body is a figure-8 flat-bottom structure similar to modern guitars, using gut strings, and the style is elegant.
