Both styles of guitar are actually Acoustic guitars but Classical models have nylon strings whereas the more modern instruments, which are referred to as Acoustic guitars, have steel strings.

The classical guitar's timbre is rich, with complex timbre changes and performances, which can show profound musical mood and emotional emotions.
And acoustic guitar and classical guitar have their own strengths,
whether in terms of musical style, playing skills or timbre, they have
unique artistic charm and value. We should appreciate and respect
their differences, so that excellent guitar music to a wider world.
If you prefer a slightly steeper learning curve, but you prefer acoustics,
then acoustics will be the perfect choice. If you want the soothing
tension and soft tone of a classical guitar, or if you are buying for
younger players, a classical guitar will be a good choice.
